HOW DO I CARE FOR MY FLOKATI OR SHEEPSKIN RUG?
Use the upholstery brush from your vacuum to keep your rug clean on a regular basis. If any stains occur, use a white cloth with cool water + blot from edges to center. For any stubborn stains, use a dab of rug cleaner + let your rug air dry. Head’s up — after your rug has been placed, it can take up to a few weeks for the shedding process to finish.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY COTTON OR WOOL RUG?
To clean a cotton rug, vacuum regularly and machine wash and lay flat to dry. For wool rugs, vacuum with a low-impact setting. You can also use a rug beater to get the dust out of it. Avoid harsh chemicals for both rugs and instead use a small amount of Castille soap, highly diluted.
ANY OTHER RUG TIPS?
Rug sliding? We recommend using natural rubber pads to stop them from moving around. (Don’t worry, they won’t cause damage to your floor!) Ends curling? We love Iron/Rubber Pads or Curl Stop stickers.
