Pot is microwave and dishwasher safe. Do not overheat in a microwave or heat without water. Do not use abrasive cleansers or steel wool. Teapot may take on a scorched-like texture on the surface. This is a unique glaze effect called "yo-hen", or unintended color transformation after firing.
Strainer is dishwasher safe and NOT microwave safe. Do not use abrasive cleansers or steel wool. To prevent rust, immediately wash and dry well after use. Store away from other metals.
