Wash by hand with hot water and without dishsoap. Dry immediately; drying on a hot stove is recommended. Burnt food remnants can be cleaned with steel wool; season the pan with oil afterward. Not dishwasher safe.
For a thorough cleaning, cover the inside of the pan with coarse salt. Warm the pan on high temperature for 1-2 minutes, then dump the salt out and dry the pan with paper. The pan will have a gray appearance, which means that it is ready to be seasoned with canola oil.
To season, dry the pan and apply a few drops of canola oil. Set the pan on high heat on the stove or in the oven for 10-15 minutes, after which it will be ready to be used.
